Hi Tom~

It sounds like you are interested in similar things to myself. Fishing on a river near a sculpture park sounds amazing! However, I am not working on any projects in your area, just yet. ;)
I looked to the work of Maya Lin as inspiration for my personal work in creating mapping sculptures...in particular my thesis work for Parsons called "Tread Erosion". It was a paper sculpture that displayed the imagined erosion of the 2nd floor of MoMA, caused by the movement of people through the area. Here's some more info about the project.

best,
Lynn

Hi, my name is Toma Villa I am a native artist from Portland Or. I spend my summers fishing the river and looking for iron pours to attend. I have seen your piece out by my house on the river and loved it. I have always thought that place would make a great sculpture park.
I have recently apply for the project out at Celilo Village that's in collaboration with you, so hopefully we might cross paths some day.

Baker's twine is, indeed, one of the finer things in life. There's a great donut shop on Greenpoint that uses the stuff, we always save the twine for craft projects :)

Hi All~

It seems this is a popular piece. I do not have any contact information for the artist. However if you are interested in her work, you can check out her site for more information. Good luck in reaching her. The work is truly amazing!
